The technology of brickmaking was introduced to the area Viminacium by Romans. development and growth urban settlement in 1st-4th century necessitated need for huge quantities construction materials. Large-scale production ceramic building materials, which are often abbreviated CBM, is attested both numerous finds material itself, as well traces manufacturing process. More than 15 kilns several structures used process were discovered vicinity Viminacium. Still, subject CBM has only been modestly studied.
